The farm covers an area of 27 hectares, among olive groves, arable land and of Mediterranean forest, in Montebamboli, Massa Marittima (GR).
For its altitude (about 340 mt. Above sea level) and proximity to the sea, the site benefits from a breezy climate thanks to the sea breezes, cool in summer and dry in winter.
The property is in the production area of the Tuscan I.G.P. olive oil.
The existing centuries-old olive grove has been recovered and between 2008 and 2011 were made two new olive groves with typical tuscan varieties of olive groves, such as Moraiolo and Frantoio.
The company takes its name “Le Moraiole” from this typical variety of olive, the moraiolo.
The company has a totally “natural” approach: it adheres to Regulation 2092/91 “Biologic” and all field are conducted in accordance with organic farming practices, thereby creating the highest quality products.
A new eco-cellar, designed according to bioclimatic criteria of landscape protection, was realized to process our farm products.
We are building also a new photovoltaic system to make the company fully autonomous and powered only by alternative energy, renewable and clean.
